Privacy

Last updated: 18 July 2026. This policy covers the Yester web app and native shells (iOS / Android) that load ouryester.com.

What we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, handle), content you add to locations (posts, site copy, memberships), and basic technical data needed to keep sessions signed in (cookies).

How we use it

To run Yester: authenticate you, sync your places across devices, show public location sites you publish, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

Storage

Data is stored in Neon Postgres and may be cached in your browser for performance. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, never in plain text.

Your choices

You can update your profile in Settings. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete account, which removes your user record and places you own. Public site visitors only see content you choose to publish.
